From Costumes to Candy, The City of Green Has Your Halloween Activities Covered
GREEN, Ohio – Please join the City of Green throughout the month of October to celebrate Halloween with a variety of events. Halloween events include the monthly Toddler Snack-tivity Series, a Trick -or- Treat Trail & Costume Contest, and Inclusion Hour: Trick -or- Treat, and city-wide Trick -or- Treating.
Toddler Snack-tivity Series
For October’s Snack-tivity, toddler families are invited to enjoy indoor Trick -or- Treating at the Central Administrative Building, 1755 Town Park Boulevard, on Wednesday, October 12 at 10am. Trick -or- Treaters can collect candy from city offices, partake in “spooky” sensory activities, and more. Register now at cityofgreen.com/register. Registration closes October 7. Space is limited.
Trick -or- Treat Trail & Costume Contest
The City of Green’s annual Trick -or- Treat Trail and Costume Contest is back Saturday, October 15 at Central Park! This event brings the city together for Halloween fun and festivities. The Costume Contest will start at 2:15pm and conclude at 3pm. Trick -or- Treaters will be able to walk around the park to collect candy and goodies from Green businesses and organizations starting at 3pm. Donations of non-perishables will be accepted to be donated to Green Good Neighbors. Learn more at cityofgreen.org/fall-events. No registration required.
Inclusion Hour
Join the City of Green on Saturday, October 15 from 5pm to 6pm at the Central Park Community Hall for sensory friendly fun in a quieter less crowded environment. Service dogs Stan and Kiwi will be in attendance! No registration required.
City Trick -or- Treat
Get dressed up in your favorite Halloween costume and enjoy traditional Trick -or- Treating around the City of Green’s neighborhoods on Saturday, October 29 from 6pm to 8pm. Leave your porch light on to participate.
