Of the 540,567 citizens living in Summit County in 2021, 78.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 426,603 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 205,593 were male, constituting 48.2%, and 221,010 were female, making up 51.8%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Summit County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.7%.
