Construction Begins on Green’s Newest Roundabout at Greensburg and Arlington Road

GREEN, OH – May 10, 2022 – The awkward, three-legged intersection of Greensburg and Arlington Road will become Green’s newest roundabout this summer.  Construction is slated to begin in late May 2022 through Fall 2022.  The $1.9 million project includes creating a one lane roundabout with lighting and landscape improvements as well as upgrades to the local storm water infrastructure.

The majority of the project is being constructed off the existing roadway resulting in limited traffic interruptions.  Near the completion of the project, there will be two phases where traffic will be detoured – one phase includes closing Arlington Road south of the intersection and the other closes Greensburg Road. The planned detour during these alternating closures is East Nimisila Road.

Karvo Companies, the construction firm who also built the roundabout at Pickle, Myersville and the three on Massillon Road North, is the contractor for this project.  This will be the ninth roundabout constructed by the City of Green.
