The City of Green’s DEI Committee Welcomes Guest Speaker, Colleen Jackson, April 30
GREEN, OH -- The City of Green’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee welcomes guest speaker, Colleen Jackson, of the Shaker Heights DEI Committee for their April meeting. The meeting is on April 30 at 9am in Council Chambers at the Central Administration Building, 1755 Town Park Blvd. The public is invited to attend.
Colleen Jackson is the Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer. She is charged with leading the institutionalization of DEI principals in all City policies, decision-making and services, while also working across City departments to ensure a diverse workforce and to facilitate training and ongoing conversations on equity and inclusion. She will be giving a presentation about Shaker’s journey in the DEI space and share goals and strategies as we reconsider our own going forward.
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee is dedicated to their vision of a City where all residents feel appreciated, involved, heard, understood, connected, supported, and embraced for our differences and have equal opportunities to thrive.
