THE CITY OF BARBERTON ANNOUNCES CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION FOR THE POSITON OF ACCOUNT CLERK

Applications must be returned in person to the Civil Service Commission Office:
February 22 – March 11, 2022 (Mon-Fri) 9:00AM- 12:00PM & 2:00PM - 4:00PM and until 6:00PM on March 9th.
Deadline for applications is Friday, March 11 at 4:00PM.
Completion of secondary education (high school or GED), supplemented by courses in general accounting and computer operations, plus one (1) year computer operations and data entry experience, or equivalent. Starting salary of $17.23 per hour. Extra credit may be obtained for residency, military and prior City of Barberton employment and will be added to a passing score of 70%. Proof must be attached to application. Testing fee: $20.00 cash (non-refundable), to be paid with return of application.
